After finishing her Fine Art degree at Concordia University in Montreal, Karine Savard's work began to receive acclaim in 2005 for the film poster for C.R.A.Z.Y., by director Jean-Marc Vallée. Since this early success, Karine has continued to design film ad campaigns consistently for over 7 years. She has worked for many award wining movies, including Incendies by director Denis Villeneuve, and Monsieur Lazhar by director Philippe Falardeau, both of which received Oscar nominations for Best foreign film. She is also known for the film poster for Rebelle, which recently won a Silver Bear at the Berlin film festival. Karine currently works as an independent poster designer for both documentary and dramatic film. Some of her well known clients include: Christal Films, Micro_scope, Seville, Metropole Films, Item 7, Mongrel Media,The National Film board, TVA Films, Les Films du 3 Mars, COOP Video.
