After finishing her Fine Art degree at Concordia University in Montreal, Karine Savard's work began to receive acclaim in 2005 for the film poster for C.R.A.Z.Y., by director Jean-Marc Vallée. Since this early success, Karine has continued to design film ad campaigns consistently for over 9 years. She has worked for many award wining movies, including Incendies by director Denis Villeneuve, Monsieur Lazhar by director Philippe Falardeau, and Rebelle by director Kim Nguyen, which received Oscar nominations for Best foreign film. She is also known for the film poster Blue is the warmest color from director Abdelatif Kechiche, which won Palme d'or at Canne. Karine currently works as an independent poster designer for both documentary and dramatic film. Some of her well known clients include: Christal Films, Micro_scope, Seville, Metropole Films, The National Film board, Les Films du 3 Mars, COOP Video.
